HEIA represents the interests of Home Economists working in education, industry, community services, consumer affairs and family and household management.

In the ACT we seek to meet the needs of our members. We offer professional development for Home Economists and aim to include a variety of topics – nutrition and health issues, food studies, hospitality, textiles and the latest educational trends with a focus on Home Economics.
