World Home Economics Day
Members and guests of HEIA (NSW division) met and celebrated World Home Economics Day at the Australian Catholic University, Strathfield on March 22nd, and were entertained and informed by Nicole Senior, practicing Dietitian and Nutritionist.
Nicole gave an inspirational talk that outlined her professional, clinical and industry work; highlighting her experiences working overseas and establishing her newest venture, her business: Professional Nutrition Services. Nicole’s career includes co-authoring two books with our fellow HEIA member, Veronica Cuskelly; working in hospitals in Wales and the Children’s Hospital in Camperdown, Unilever, and as a freelance professional consultant including her writing for Super Food Ideas magazine.
