Accommodation
A range of hotel rooms and apartments has been negotiated
at excellent rates for delegates. To secure these rates, please
make your accommodation booking when registering through the
Conference Managers. Please note, the number of rooms held at
the specified prices is limited.
• Online accommodation bookings: Your
credit card details must be supplied and will be passed to the
hotel to secure your booking.
• Cheque payments: Your payment for accommodation
should be included on your conference registration form and
faxed or posted to the Conference Managers. A deposit equal
to one night’s tariff must be received at the time of
booking. A tax invoice will be issued by your accommodation
provider on check-out.
• Where credit card details or cheque deposit payments
have not been received, your accommodation is unable to be secured.
• Rooms are not guaranteed for check-in before 1400 hours.
• Accommodation rates cannot be guaranteed for delegates
registering within 30 days of the conference or once the conference
room blocks have been filled.
• Cancellations in whole, in part, or ‘no-shows’,
may incur a penalty of at least one night’s deposit at
the hotel’s discretion. Please refer to the accommodation
section below for details of accommodation cancellation policies.

ECHO Events Australia or the conference organisers.

Glenelg Street, South Bank
The 41⁄2 star Rydges South Bank is situated in Brisbane’s
most enviable location, the South Bank arts and entertainment
precinct. Rydges South Bank adjoins the Brisbane Convention &
Exhibition Centre via a walkway and is directly opposite the Queensland
Performing Arts Centre complex and only a few minutes walk to
the Queensland Museum, State Library of Queensland and the new,
magnificent Gallery of Modern Art (GoMA). Downtown Brisbane, the
Treasury Casino and the Queen Street Mall are an easy 10-minute
stroll away.
This unique riverside leisure area is bustling with a myriad of
cafes, restaurants, bars, boutiques and a cinema. Rates are inclusive

Rooms are fitted out with a writing desk, mini
bar, Cable TV, clock radio, microwave, refrigerator, tea and
coffee making facilities, two international direct dial phones,
iron and ironing board, in-house videos (fee), high-speed broadband
connectivity (fee) and each room has individually controlled
air-conditioning.

66–76 Queen Street Mall, Brisbane
The Chifley at Lennons is located on Queen
Street Mall, in the heart of the CBD adjacent to the Treasury
Casino and opposite the Myer Centre. The Brisbane Convention
& Exhibition Centre, Roma Street Parklands, South Bank Parklands
and Restaurants and Brisbane’s Botanical Gardens are within
walking distance. Facilities include outdoor heated pool, sauna
and spa, 24 hour reception, laundry and dry cleaning service,
express check-in and check-out, valet car parking and in-room
safes

Deluxe rooms feature one Queen bed or two King

Riverside Hotel is located within 400m of Brisbane Convention
and Exhibition Centre and is an easy walk.
One room unit is usually a queen bed in bedroom with a double
sofa bed in lounge, however approximately four units can have
two single beds instead of the double sofa bed.
Studio apartments can either have 2 x single bed, or a queen bed,
or a queen and 1 single configuration.
