Registration fees and payment

All prices are in Australian dollars and include 10% GST.
The HEIA(Q) Organising Committee is pleased to announce that the registration fees for 2010 have been kept at the 2009 price thanks to the support of the sponsors.

Registration entitles delegates to morning tea, lunch and cocktails. Additional tickets may be purchased for cocktails for delegate guests at a cost of $20 per person.

Please register by completing the registration form and returning with payment to the Conference Managers. Registration can be completed on-line at www.heia.com.au/heiaq, or sent by mail or fax. Payment can be made by cheque, money order or credit card if sent by mail, or with credit card only if registering on-line. Cheques and money orders are to be made payable to HEIA(Q).

Registration will only be confirmed on receipt of payment and will be acknowledged in writing by e-mail where an e-mail address is provided, otherwise receipt of payment will be confirmed by mail.

A registration desk will operate from 7.30 am on the Plaza level of the Centre, where delegates will receive their name badge and satchel.

Payment at the earlybird rate must be received with the registration form by 2 July 2010, otherwise the next level of payment will be applied.

Cancellation, alteration or refund
All notifications for cancellation, alteration or refund must be made in writing to the Conference Managers for consideration by the conference organising committee. Registration fees are not refundable after 2 July 2010 unless extenuating circumstances exist. However, your registration can be transferred to another person if the Conference Managers are advised in writing. Eligible refunds will be made after the conclusion of the conference.

Disclaimer of liability
The HEIA(Q) conference organising committee reserves the right to amend the conference program. The conference organising committee, the HEIA(Q), and the Conference Managers will not accept responsibility for any act or omission of speakers from the program.

No liability will be accepted by the conference organising committee, the HEIA(Q) or the Conference Managers, howsoever sustained by delegates or accompanying persons, for loss or damage caused to delegates’ personal property as a result of the conference or related events, or in the event of industrial disputes.

Privacy policy
Upon registering to attend this conference, some of your personal details may be used to generate a delegates list—that is, name, organisation, address and e-mail address. This will be distributed to other organisations directly related to the conference such as sponsors and trade exhibitors. Please indicate on the registration form if you do not want your details to appear on the delegate list. In providing your e-mail address, you agree to receive e-mail correspondence in relation to this conference.

Photographs will also be taken during the conference and used to showcase the event in HEIA publications and/or on its website. Please indicate on the registration form if you do not wish to have your photograph taken, and advise the photographer of the same.

Conference venue
The conference will be conducted on the Mezzanine and Plaza levels at the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre, at the intersection of Merivale and Glenelg Streets, South Brisbane. Entry
can be gained via the main foyer. Undercover parking is available under the Centre at a cost of $19 approximately (time dependent) or in the streets nearby. The venue is readily accessible by public transport—
train, ferry and bus.

Dietary and other requirements
If you have any special dietary or other requirements, please indicate your needs on the registration form. Access to the conference rooms is catered for with stairs, escalators and lifts.

Trade exhibition
There will be a trade exhibition associated with this conference set up in the foyer on the Plaza level of the Centre. Morning tea will be served in this area to enable participants to view the exhibition.
