What I enjoy about my job: Watching my students develop into mature young adults. I enjoy challenging them and seeing them excel. I love the look on their faces when they know they have accomplished something big!! I enjoy preparing them for life outside school with good solid life skills.

Other Professional Involvement: Year 12 event organising; including coordinating the Year 12 Formal, Year 11/12 girls mentor/after school
support group leader.

Most Influential Mentor: Dodie McLeod (my first practicum mentor), Kathleen Dodgson (my fourth practicum mentor), Christina Tassell and
HEIA (SA) who helped me work through formalising my training as a Home Eccie.

Most Influential PD: Involvement with HEIA, especially State and National Conferences - with awsome speakers who open your eyes to what
is going on beyond your little box, and practical Tafe training/courses - FUN!!!

Personal Interests: Singing, dancing, craft, painting, smocking, beading/silk embroidery, growing own herbs and veges, trying new recipes and entertaining.
