We award a number of Scholarships and Prizes each year. Some are Tasmanian based, others are Australian wide.

NATIONAL AWARD

KING AND O'MALLEY AWARD

Undergraduate - These scholarships are open to full time students undertaking an eligible course in home economics or equivalent at an Australian tertiary institution. The scholarship is valued at $5000.

Postgraduate ‚ Full scholarships, valued at $7,500 are open to students with a Home Economics undergraduate qualification who are undertaking full time postgraduate study in an aspect of Home Economics in Australia or overseas

MARY FIST SCHOLARSHIP

(Written application and interview selection process)
Mary Fist was a leading Home Economics Educator in Tasmania for many years. Awarded to an outstanding year 12 student studying a Home Economics subject/s, and who will enrol in a Home Economics related course at the University of Tasmania or TAFE Tasmania – to pursue his/her interest/career in the field of Home Economics.
