INVITATION TO PARTICIPATE
On behalf of the conference organising committee for the Working in Partnerships Conference we are pleased to announce that both the opportunity to submit an abstract and register for the conference is now available.

The conference, to be held on the 11th and 12th of July 2008 at Wrest Point Convention Centre, will bring together a range of international and national speakers covering the conference theme of Working In Partnerships.

The Plenary presenters include Michelle MacGrath from the Guys Hospital London; Professor Judith Chapman, Director of the Centre for Lifelong Learning, Australian Catholic University; Beverley Funnell, Manager of the Disability Bureau, Department of Premier and Cabinet Tasmania; Anne Deveson AO, Writer, Broadcaster and Documentary Film Maker; and Professor Tony Worsley, Senior Research Advisor, Victoria Health Promotion Foundation. We have over 35 confirmed workshop presenters who’s topics and biographies are available for review on the conference website.

The theme will explore the opportunities, challenges and new developments for effective outcomes for young children, students and school communities.

The program includes relevant topics for educators, teachers, school leaders, professionals from the child care industry, early intervention teachers, parents and carers, professionals from health and disability services, disability workers, professionals from health and disability servicies and members of professional associations involved in education to attend.

Our first regional meeting in the South will be on 21 February 2008 at St Mary's College, 164 Harrington Street Hobart at 4.00pm.
