Annual Morning Coffee for Retired and Current members of HEIA Tas at the Beach House Restaurant Sandy Bay.

The Annual Morning Coffee gathering is an initiative of the Committee of Management and offers to an opportunity to relax and chat with friends. At this meeting a small group of home economists gathered to chat and look through a scrapbook of the early years of Home Economics in Tasmania.

In service Textile Workshop with Anne Mitchell, more Chef events and
State Meeting held - King and Amy O'Malley Scholarships, the Muriel Marshall Award
(top exiting student teacher from UTas Bachelor of Education in Design and
Technology Teaching - Home Economics), and the top Tasmania students in Home
Economics pre tertiary courses will be awarded.

On this day we also acknowledge World Home Economics Day.

Culinary Workshop " An Expression in Chocolate"
Was held on Saturday 2 May 2009 Drysdale Skills Institute Launceston

This workshop was presented by well known chef and owner of tantpourtant fine cakes, breads and pastries, Paul Herbig.
