Certificate Course - Present and Serve Espresso Coffee

West Coast Institute of Training (Formerly West Coast TAFE)

Joondalup Campus 35 Kendrew Crescent, Joondalup

This is a certified course delivered by the West Coast Institute of Training (formerly West Coast TAFE), which allows participants to develop skills and knowledge in history of coffee; extraction of coffee, texturing of milk preparation and presentation of a variety of coffees from a short black to an affagatto using commercial Barista machines. Participants of this workshop can achieve a unit of competency for in Present and Serve Coffee (SITHFAB012A) through completion of the 30 course, self paced work booklet and practical test.
This course will allow you to explore coffee as a commodity for Food Science and Technology. In addition to allowing you to use your skills and knowledge developed in this course assist lower school students present a coffee shop as a small business as well as mastering your own domestic coffee machine.
