Every 10 minutes in Australia, around 6000 kilograms of textiles end up in landfill. Monash University’s Circular Fashion initiative tackles this issue head-on with practical, research-based resources designed to reshape the way we design, use, and dispose of clothing.

The flagship guide 'A better T-shirt for today and tomorrow' follows the life of a garment from beginning to end, built around the principles of reduce, revalue, regenerate, and respect.

Companion 'pocket guides' offer bite-sized, ready-to-use strategies for students, designers, producers, and consumers. These free guides provide a clear roadmap for a more sustainable fashion system, making them an excellent resource for anyone teaching or learning about textiles or sustainability - great for the Home Economics classroom!
