Our current consumption patterns are unsustainable, contributing to health issues, climate change, and environmental degradation. It is time for change, and home economics can lead the way, particularly in addressing food, housing, and travel.

Sarah will also share the news and planning for Wellington's hosting of the World Congress of the International Federation for Home Economics (IFHE) in 2028, an exciting event that marks the first time the congress will be held in New Zealand.
