Power in nutrition: Eating for health and performance
Presenter: Isobelle Smith, University of Southern Cross and O’Malley Trust scholar
Isobelle Smith will present her research on factors that affect physical and mental performance, including the pyramid of nutrition priorities. While her study focused on 17-19-year-old females, the insights are applicable to individuals of all ages. She will also discuss simple strategies for determining the right balance of ‘repair and build’ foods, ‘fuel’ foods, and ‘filling and add bulk foods’.
