Be a tourist in your own city!  Art, fabric and family things …

We will meet at 1:00 pm at the Ian Potter Centre forecourt (Federation Square) for a coffee before strolling through vibrant Hosier Lane to visit Tessuti Fabrics (141 Flinders Lane). Enjoy the colours, textures, and exquisite fabrics (most are Made in Italy) —feel free to bring your patterns in case something catches your eye for purchase!

Next, we will head to the Old Treasury Building (20 Spring St), a fascinating museum 'chock full' with a treasure trove, showcasing the early history of Melbourne and the evolution of feminism from the beginnings of the suffragette movement to 21st women in action, and also an opportunity to view the small but beautiful exhibition of family things https://www.oldtreasurybuilding.org.au/belongings/

Strictly limited to 10 participants.
